Little Boy Blue is headed to the Zoo today…he’s so excited to be going with his friends and teacher. They have been reading a lot about animals and happy they spent some time researching KOKO and her pet kittens.
Little Boy Blue drew this picture of KOKO and All Ball for his classroom art project and plans on visiting the gorillas and monkeys today. And he really wants to see the elephants, I hope he gets to see them too.

What’s amazing is I remember learning KOKO lessons when she was just a little thing and I feel old now, but we can sign “I Love You!” (often quoted to be our family gang sign). Maybe we’ll take the family to Hawaii when KOKO’s sanctuary is finished.
