REUNION
by Annalisa Hall
A candle in the window lit. Flickering nervous. She sit.
Snow crunching under his boots, a step at the door knocks his core.
Wiping clean a smile. Careful she surveys a familiar danger.
Pausing as his eyes glitter. She knows that look, he was no stranger.
Gently kissing without dismay. Thrilling warmth. Stay!
